Refractive Action Works - Opening Statement

Welcome to Refractive Action Works. Who are we? Well, here’s the R.A.W. truth: we are, right now, an "I"—I am Laedrin Stelvaris Veyndralis. While this may be my pen name, it’s also a journey shared with you. I’ve created a series of workbooks designed to guide you on an introspective journey through a memory mindscape you build yourself, using the prompts, exercises, and reflections found in the books.

This is the beginning of something much bigger, the first step in the multi-book series Rhapsody's Overture. This website is just a placeholder until I can bring my vision to life with the help of a professional team.

A Personal Journey, Not a Professional One:

It’s important to note that I am not a professional in any of these fields. I have no degrees or certificates that are standard for the industry or outside of it. Everything I share here has been built through my self-inspired journey of reflection and refractive action. This is a program born out of lived experience, deep introspection, and a commitment to exploration, not formal training or credentials.

Why Refractive Action Works?

This began as a photography site—an exploratory phase, a lens through which I started to observe and understand the world around me. Photography became a way to play with light, angles, and perception. It taught me that nothing is fixed—everything shifts with the right focus, the right frame. That phase was foundational. It helped shape what was coming.

Now, photography is a hobby, still close to my heart, but the vision of Refractive Action Works has evolved into something deeper, something communal, introspective, and action-oriented. The name stayed with me because of its layered meaning:

Refractive: Not just about light, but insight. A bending of perspective. A transformation through distortion that reveals clarity.

Action: The movement of the self and community toward change, growth, and awareness.

Works: The creative and spiritual labor we engage in, individually and collectively, to become more whole, more true, and more connected.

This project has grown from a solo exploration into an invitation, a call for others to walk their paths of reflection and refraction. The workbooks are tools. The community is the container. The journey is both personal and shared.

Refractive Action Works is no longer just about seeing the world through a lens. It’s about seeing ourselves refracted within each other, and building something meaningful through the work we each carry and contribute.
